Experience and professional personnel are the strengths of RDS Manufacturing. The latest advances in CAD/CAM are utilized to produce manufacturing planning and tool design. All processes are double checked for accuracy prior to release for production. All jobs, whether short lead time prototypes or long run production quantities, receive the same detailed attention.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

The RDS approach to quality is based on prevention, rather than correction. This is accomplished by extensive preplanning, starting at the quote stage and continuing through final inspection, packaging and shipping.

The quality system is based on ISO 9001:2008, MIL-I-45208 and MIL-STD-45662 and meets or exceeds the exacting requirements of most major suppliers of turbine engine, aerospace and defense products.

EQUIPMENT/PROCESSES

Extensive use of computer numerical controlled machine tools assures close tolerances and consistency. We have over twenty CNC turning centers, over fifteen CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, CNC wire EDM centers, CNC sinker EDM centers plus over twenty pieces of conventional machines available to meet any production requirements. Non-destructive testing, coordinate measuring and welding capabilities in-house assures an uninterrupted flow of the product through completion.
